MATERIALS: Worsted weight yarn (200 g (7.05 oz) = 300 m (328 yd)), 100% natural Slovenian sheep wool
yardage: 1 skein
SIZES: one size
MEASUREMENTS: Hood width: 24 cm (9.5″); Height from the top of the crown to end of collar: 34 cm (13.4″)
SUGGESTED HOOK: 6 mm (US J-10)
GAUGE: 24 hdc x 24 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4″) blocked.
The balaclava is made in two parts; the first part is the hood, and the second is the collar.
The parts are joined using slip stitches.
The pattern is customizable, so you can choose a completely different granny square, more or less classic, that you like and then repeat the same pattern around it, according to these instructions.
