SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner
MATERIALS: Yarn: sock/fingering yarn (100 g (3.63 oz) = 350 m (383 yd))
yardage: 350-400m (383 – 438 yd), and 40 – 60m (44 – 66 yd) in three contrasting colors
SIZES: S, M, L
MEASUREMENTS: 56, 64, 72 sts
SUGGESTED NEEDLES: circular needles 2.25mm (US 1) and 2.5 mm (US 1.5)
GAUGE: 32 sts x 42 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4′′), worked on smaller needles over stockinette stitch, unblocked.
These socks are knitted in the round, from the cuff down, with a short colorwork section on the leg and before the toes, and with the afterthought heel. The pattern is written using the magic loop circular needle method (but can be knitted with DPNs or any other circular preferred method).
